About Us

The Puffing Billy is part of a growing Devon based Hotel and Restaurant group set up by Andrew Younger in 2008. We were delighted to acquire The Puffing Billy in September 2009 and fully intend to continue to add to the excellent reputation that has been created by many of the current kitchen and front of house team.

Our Head Chef is Sean McBride who joined us in March 2011 and has already built on the excellent food reputation that has been built up over the last 5 years or so under the previous Chef, darren Broom.

Andrew has extensive experience in the Hotel, Pub and Restaurant business over the past 25 years and will be looking to add further sites to the portfolio as and when the right opportunity arises.
